Diamond Lake is located in the township of Grand View northeast of Cable, Wisconsin. The Wisconsin DNR reports the lake to be 341 surface acres with a maximum depth of 83 ft. Water quality is excellent and the lake bottom tends be sand and gravel around much of the lakeshore. The shoreline is entirely in private ownership with the exception of the public boat launch in the southeast corner along Pioneer Rd.
Fishing opportunities include Northern Pike, Walleye, Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass and Panfish. Diamond Lake tends to be quiet but is large enough for water skiing, sailing and personal watercraft. The lake association restricts recreational watercraft (skiing, tubing, jetskis) activity to the hours of 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
